I am still planning an end of the week update, but I have to take care of a few things this afternoon, so it won’t be until later. Here is the short version..<\/p>\n
Weekend weather looks nice with no expected rain and temps in the low 80s, and about 60 for a low.<\/p>\n
The Peshtigo River watershed got hammered with rain over the past two days, and saw as much as 3.5″ of rain. The river is on the rise, and the gauge is going straight up. The Peshtigo will be fun for whitewater rafting or flat water tubing this weekend.<\/p>\n
Local rain gauges show 2.6″ for he past two days. Some people measured a lot more than that. Puddles and low lying areas are very full, and the driveway and roads have some gravel washouts.<\/p>\n
Rapids Resort is having Glori-okie Friday and Saturday night 8-10 and 8-11. Gloria will DJ and let you sing the hits if you think that you can. Maybe we can get Steve to do that Adam Sandler song about his car again.<\/p>\n
