Greetings and welcome!<\/p>\n

We had a lot of rain last night. The radar returns are showing 1.5″ plus and the USGS rain gauge by Kosir’s is showing just over 2″. It must have really rained hard at some point, I actually had water go up over the cement lip between the garage and driveway and flood half of the garage.<\/p>\n

I would expect to see some washed out or flooded forest roads and ATV trails as a result, especially in northern Oconto County. There is more rain on the way.<\/p>\n

I should also note that the Peshtigo River came up about 5″ overnight from the rain. That is very unusual. It is one of my little truths of life that a rising river is a fun river for whitewater. It gets very pushy and rafting this fast of a rise should be a total blast. Call Kosir’s. 715-757-3431.<\/p>\n

The bars are probably going to be busy this weekend. Based on how clogged the cell towers are there are a lot of weekend visitors this weekend. Not only is the data impossibly slow, yesterday afternoon I couldn’t even make a call. It is good to see a lot of people in the area again.<\/p>\n
