Morning Update- We did make that 4″ mark.. just barely.<\/p>\n

Greetings and welcome!<\/p>\n

Just a quick rain update..<\/p>\n

Saturday it went on to rain another inch for a total of 3″ on the USGS gauge by Kosir’s.\u00a0 Several people said that their gauge was higher than the USGS gauge by 1\/2″ or more.<\/p>\n

Sunday turned out to be a pretty nice day. It did rain a little after sunset.<\/p>\n

Guess what? It is raining again. It started a little before sunset Monday and has added up to 1\/2″ as of 11:15pm Monday night. The radar shows that it might not stop for a while. I would not be surprised to see it hit the 1″ mark, bringing us to about 4″ of rain since Saturday.<\/p>\n

There are going to be some flooded trails and forest roads. Lowlands that gather water have done so, and I would expect small lakes to be pretty full. Mud won’t be hard to find. Trout streams are going to be big too. It has been a wet summer.<\/p>\n

The whitewater rafting will be amazing this week and weekend. The Peshtigo is running about a+18″, a really<\/strong><\/em> fun level.<\/p>\n

Weekend visitors might want to hit WalMart for some of that Repel Sportsman’s 40%. The wet stretch was not lost on the gators (mosquitoes). I got swarmed pretty bad Sunday night.<\/p>\n
