We had a couple of lines of significant storms roll through the area yesterday and last night. There was a lot of lightning, some heavy rain and some wind.<\/p>\n
Locally there were wind gusts estimated up to 60mph. The earlier storm wasn’t much here but was significant between about Coleman and Peshtigo. The TV had warnings on about 70mph winds and 1″ diameter hail. I am still waiting for the noon news to see more about that.
\nHere in the Silver Cliff and Twin Bridge area we had a lot of power outages but a look at the local Facebook page showed no reports of damage. I have a couple of small branches down in the yard. The neighbor’s dead oaks that should have been cut down 5 years ago stood up to it well.<\/p>\n
I have not been out and about yet but I am not expecting much for damage.<\/p>\n
