Rick- Yes I was trying it out to see if it would work as a new rafting cam. It seems pretty nice, and I love transferring video files off of a card instead of recording it in real time. Saves huge time. It is really tiny 3x2x5, so I need to see about stability and it was cloudy, needs to be proven on a bright sun day.
I got it at an insane price off of E-Bay, turns out it was a wally world demo in KY. The footage still on it was pretty funny.
It is tiny and easy to use and zooms way past where I can hold it steady (think 1/2 mile) and I have plans to do more stuff like the vid above. Could be a nice addition to both the site and the rafting.
I am still a glass half full guy with the weather. There are some storms showing up on the GFS, and it should start turning around in time for people to enjoy May and beyond. If that cursed El Nino would just break down the rest of the way..
Looks great, will this be your new rafting camera. If so, you should have some dynamite videos. The audio sounds good also. Hope the weather turns so the rivers will rise for you guys. It hasn’t looked pretty this year for rafting. Might have to come up this summer for the fishing.
