Greetings and welcome!

This is 75 & sunny huh? It has been an overcast and damp day with occasional showers. The web gadget on the left says 61, not 75. Oops.

It looks like the storm got bigger and came farther north. It was a possibility in the models, but with the experts discounting it and 98% of the storms going around us I went along. Ooops.

The rain is moving out, and the rest of the weekend looks to still be on track with nice and warm weather. That is coming from the same experts though.

I am a little nervous about that, so I went and looked. It looks like Saturday should be ok. Today’s low will be right across Lake Michigan, but the models all say clear weather behind it.

Saturday night a warm front comes through dry. Behind it will be warmer, more humid southern air, and a better chance of something stirring up in the way of a shower or storm for Sunday afternoon. The HPC QPF shows us for 0.01-0.1″ of rain over the next 72 hours, but not too far west totals rise. By the Twin Cities it is almost an inch.

My best guess is a warm weekend, not as much sun as expected, and hot on Sunday with a chance of a storm later. It should be a nice weekend.

Have a good weekend and thank you for visiting!
