The area ATV trails are officially closed for the spring break up.

Monday March 16th, 2015
The entire Marinette County ATV Trail System will be closed to all vehicles effective immediately until further notice. This closure is required to protect the soft trail bed from erosion damage caused by ATV’s and other vehicles during spring break up. ATV trails will re-open when conditions warrant. Another press release will ne places in the paper when the trails are re-opened.”

5th Annual CL/Mountain Lions Club Oktoberfest Celebration
Crooked Lake Community Center from 11am to 7pm
Beer Garden, Meat Raffle, Arts & Crafts, Minnow Races, Free Pumpkin Decorating for children. Meal of roasted pig with stuffing, German potato salad, red potatoes, sauerkraut and applesauce and full dessert bar Served from 4 – 7.

October 11
Red Arrow 2nd Annual Fall Family Fun Day & Booyah Party
at the Old Town Hall, Townsend. Club immediately following the regular club meeting at 11am.
ATV/UTV trail ride leaves at noon. DJ at 2pm with meat raffles, door prizes, kids bunce house, horseshoes, volleyball, food and refreshments.

Greetings and welcome!

The fall colors got really nice this week, and the show is on. Around here it is getting close to peak, up by Highway 8 it is even better.

Events this weekend include the Silver Cliff Soup & Chili Fest, the Crivitz Fall Harvest Festival, and professional wrestling at Wausaukee High School to benefit WE Industries.

The weather looks like it will be in the mid and upper 70s, about 15 degrees above normal. Get out there and enjoy it while you can!
