I was at the town board meeting tonight to see the opening of Parkway Rd south to ATVs through. The board did eventually approve it, but not without significant discussion about ATV riders misconduct like spinning donuts on gravel roads. Apparently the town road crews spend a lot of time fixing that stupidity and it is a real problem.
At any rate opening the road did pass, but it will not open until August 15th. The board made it very clear that misconduct would change that decision pretty quickly. Hopefully there will be enough patrolling and law enforcement to keep people in line and the road open.
